As part of its proactive search for new acquisition opportunities, the entire Edify team is in direct contact with a network of experts, as well as business leaders in manufacturing and services. The team is also in regular contact with financial intermediaries. This two-pronged approach helps us bring in a large number of potential deals (150 to 200 annually). All are reviewed and those which are shortlisted are thoroughly investigated. Those that meet the investment criteria, particularly with regard to growth potential, are submitted to the Board of Directors. The Investment Committee then reviews the potential deals in depth before giving his opinion to the Board.
